Speaking Engagment

I’ll be presenting at a March 23, 2010 seminar in Charlotte on the topics of tenant defaults, notice of default, and lease terminations.  The entire seminar is entitled “Landlord-Tenant Law: Leases, Evictions, and Litigation.”  This is a great seminar not only for lawyers, but property managers, leasing agents, landlords and tenants, and others involved with real estate.

The other topics cover the lease itself, “green” building and leases, summary ejectment proceedings, answers and defenses in litigation, and the effect of bankruptcy on landlords and tenants.

The registration fee for the entire seminar is $329.00 per person (sorry, lunch is not included).  If you register by February 8th you get $30 off the fee.

If you can only make part of it, my portion starts at 11:00 AM at the Doubletree Hotel Gateway Village, 895 West Trade Street in Charlotte.

Sterling Education Services is putting on the seminar.  Click here for more information about Sterling and this seminar.

For lawyers, the entire seminar is worth 6.5 CLE credit hours.

The NC Real Estate Commission has also approved the seminar for 4.0 hours of continuing education credit.
